Question : My boyfriend has a bump on his shafts that is a bump (thickness and height of the pink part of an eraser on a pencil) with a black dot in the middle of it. I was tempted to pop it but he wouldn't let me as he said he's had this since he was little. What could it be and is it safe?

According to your history it could be either epidermoid cyst or scrotal calcinosis.
Both are asymptomatic chronic conditions but don't pose any serious side effects.
