Brief Answer:
Here are a few suggestions, although still recommend doctors visit

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The first thing to do is to find the cause for the increased gas production ma'am; you have mentioned having a gastric bypass in the past, but there could be some other underlying reason or condition causing the same like:

+Gastritis
+Acid reflux
+Peptic ulcer disease
+Hiatus hernia
+Irritable bowel syndrome
+Diverticulosis

But here are a few suggestions that you can try ma'am:

+Drink plenty of water
+Avoid spicy food
+Avoid oily food
+Avoid fatty food
+Avoid fried food
+Avoid alcohol
+Avoid smoking
+Take 1 tablet of either ranitidine or omeprazole 15 minutes before each meal during the presence of symptoms
+But take 1 tablet of lansoprazole 30 mg everyday without fail
+Be on a high fiber diet
+Avoid strenuous forms of exercise
+Avoid milk and other dairy products (especially if you seem to experience more bloating after all this)
+Avoid gluten and all products that contain it
+Avoid tea and coffee (and caffeine)
+Avoid strenuous forms of exercise, but make sure you get at least 30-45 minutes of cardio each day
+Also make sure you have your last meal at least 2-3 hours prior to bedtime
+Have 5-6 smaller meals instead of 2-3 larger ones
+Avoid overeating
+Make sure you do not lie down soon after a meal and wait for at least 60-90 minutes before you do that

With such simple precautions you should be able to prevent such symptoms from recurring. I know the list is long, but I was only trying to be as thorough as possible. I hope you find my response helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
