Question : I have had itching, redness, cracking on the palms of my hands for about a year. I use lots of lotion that does not help. Do not have my hands in water or chemicals.
Brief Answer:
Also need a potent topical steroid cream
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.
I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
I have viewed the image.
This could be a patch of psoriasis.
In addition to the moisturizing lotion you should also use a potent topical steroid e.g either Clobetasol propionate 0.05% cream or Halobetasol propionate 0.05% cream, 2x daily, for these patches (prescription may be required from your local physician for the same).
Regards
