Brief Answer:
Hypothyroidism, age related , allergies. No worries in every case.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Bags under eyes are very common in old age due to weakening of muscles supporting eyes and fats moving to lower eye lids followed by some fluid collection. This is mostly a cosmetic issue and not to be worries about. COld compresses under eye over puffy areas should be applied and if the puffiness persists then cosmetic treatment may be sought.

Allergies can be the cause of these puffiness and should be relieved by use of some antihistamines.

last but not the least and most fitting one is the hypothyroidism. HYpothyroid people more or less always develop this periorbital edema and fluid collection and indicates imbalance of thyroid hormones. I would like you to get thyroid functions assay and reschedule the dose of the medication and see if it helps.

Nutshell, these are benign collection and likely due to combination of hypothyroidism and age related tissue decline. Talk to your doctor and let them sort it out for you.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
