Brief Answer:
Get investigated as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Peripheral neuropathy can be due to many causes apart from diabetes.
Myeloma or dysimmune neuropathy due to abnormal protein deposition in nerves can be a cause.
The investigations for this is immunoelectropheresis for myeloma, urine for bence XXXXXXX protein and light chain assessment.
Other blood investigations and nerve conduction study is required for diagnosis of neuropathy.
Treatment is usually immunomodulator drugs.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
