Brief Answer:
Need a ultrasound abdomen to rule out cholelithiasis

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it needs to be evaluated on ultrasound abdomen to look for gall badder and pancreas and some basic blood work up like complete blood count, liver functions and serum amylase.

A detailed abdominal and chest examination along with chest and abdominal X-rays may be needed for the coughing bouts and abdominal gases respectively.

Meanwhile antacids like Omeperazole or Pantoprazole before meals along with motility agents will help.

If cramps sensations increase using anti spasmodic like Drotaverine (prescription drug) along with analgesics like acetaminophen will help. Take soft diets and avoid greasy, oily and protein rich diets.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Regards.
