Brief Answer:
Can be due to mild contractions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Pain in the lower abdomen at full term pregnancy can be due to descent of the baby or mild uterine contractions. This can be a normal finding and such pain usually reduces with rest. Since the baby is moving normally there is no need to worry. Just take rest let the pain subside on its own. in case the pain increases or the baby movement decreases then do consult a gynecologist for proper examination.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

I also have low platelets - 110 last week, and not sure if this could be related? I have a new purple dot on my arm this morning. Im concerned this will harm myself or the baby

Brief Answer:
Can be low platelets.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
A new purple dot suggests spontaneous bleeding due to low platelets. This is worrisome and needs proper treatment under the care of your gynecologist.
Hope my answer is helpful.
