Hi and thanks for your query.

You are having cold and fever for last 3 weeks. Sometimes viral can last this long. Sometimes it may not be a viral. Since it is there for 3 weeks now it is time to get tested before you take any medicines. The tests can include basic tests like complete blood count, ESR, complete urinalysis, and maybe microbiology of sputum or throat swab.

Thus see an ear nose and throat specialist.

Till then you can take crocin for fever upto 4 times a day and tab cetirizine once or twice daily to control the excessive mucous secretions.
