Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough And High Pulse Rate

Question: my 14 year old son seems to have a cold I checked his
temp it was 97.5. he says he doesn't feel bad except for the constant coughing

I checked his blood pressure it was 117 over 86 but the pulse was 135.

should I be concerned with that high pulse

If he was not well rested and in a calm state, this might have been the reason for the high pulse. I will like that you take his pulse again and report to me. If it is not less than 100beats per minute, then I would say we need to do something about it. The blood pressure and temperature are all normal and I do not really have any other reasons to be too worried about them at this time.

I will also recommend that he drinks much water, eat healthy and stay active.
