Question : hi doctor, my mother has been coughing for a week now. can you please recommend any good cough syrup or medicine? she has swelling in her throat too. she thinks it might be because of the thyroid but when she got her blood tested for thyroid, it was in normal range.

Sorry to say but I am not able to see the report you have attached.
What is this report?
And for her coughing problem, give her syrup asthakind DX 1 tsf thrice daily.
Also give levocetrizine (5mg) one tablet twice daily.
Ask her to avoid oily and spicy food, fatty and junk food. Tell her to drink plenty of fluids orally.
Warm water gargles 5-6 times a day is also beneficial.
