Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

If you have had persistent upper respiratory symptoms for two months your doctor might consider a short tapering course of prednisone. This works as an anti-inflammatory to help decrease inflammation present in your airways.

And Intermatic might be another consideration but it doesn't sound like you have an ongoing true infection.

If your symptoms persist for more than a coupleof more weeks it might be necessary to see a respiratory specialist. Sometimes additional imaging might be necessary such as a CT scan.

Your doctor might also consider a trial of an inhaler to help relax her airways and decrease coughing.

Thank you again for sending your question. I am sorry you have had to deal with the symptoms for such a long period of time. Hopefully within the nextweek or so you will start to feel better with the help of your doctor.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
