Brief Answer:
go for serum testosterone level

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for information and sorry for delayed response.

Occasional presence of masturbation, good past sex life with girlfriend and venlafaxine medicine suggest possibility of psychological problem. There is no possibility of any physical problem according to your history. For confirmation you should undergo for serum testosterone level (free and total testosterone at fasting). It is likely going to come normal. If it is low, supplement can be given.

I would like to recommend supplements which you can take for better erection.

You can use medicine cum vitamin supplement containing pyridoxal-5-phosphate, mecobalamin and l-methylfolate (trade name tetrafol plus) is very helpful in my patients. It has shown improvement in 50-60 patients of mine with erectile dysfunction. You may get this medicine over the counter as it is vitamin product.

I would like to also mention ayurvedic medicine option. Tentex forte is the medicine which is used for sex related problem. No side effects have been reported.

If I were your treating doctor I suggest one tablet of tetrafol plus after meal twice daily for two months and one tablet tentex forte daily at night with a cup of milk for 4 weeks.

Feel free to discuss further.

Brief Answer:
you will be effective in 2 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Actually there is no major problem at all for which you are worried. Your future sex/married life will be absolutely fine and you can enjoy always, no need to worry about the same.

These medicines will be effective maximum in 2 weeks.

If your testosterone comes normal, you even can be treated with just psycho-sexual counseling and without medicines.

If still any query there, I will be happy to answer if not, you can close the discussion and if feasible give your feedback and rating so I can improve my service.

Brief Answer:
taper veniz xr gradully

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome back.

Veniz xr is an SNRI drug and you are taking it since long I guess. At present you are taking total 225 mg dose. You can reduce 18.75 mg dose every 5 days by breaking 75 mg tablet in to 4 parts. This will allow you to reduce the dose without any or very less withdrawals. Other option is you have to take clonazpeam or lorazepam to treat withdrawals if you want to reduce fast. And you need to consult your treating doctor for prescription of these benzodiazepine drugs.

You can take viagra for one night. Viagra contains sildenafil. It is 5-PDE inhibitor group of medicines. It is proven drug for male erectile dysfunction. It should be used 2 hours prior to sex. It causes headache, stuffy nose nausea and gastric discomfort like common side effects. Proper physical check-up of cardiac system should be done by a doctor before starting the same. These are prescription medicines and you need to consult doctor/psychiatrist/sexologist for the prescription. In young age no problem happens with single use of viagra.
However I do not recommend using it rather keep confidence in yourself and try to perform. You will likely be able to perform well without viagra.

All the best.
