Question : Hi there, my name is XXXX, and I'm having RUQ & LUQ pain. The ultrasound came back normal, for the gallbladder, liver, and pancreas, however, the HIDDA Scan that I had back in '04 is consistent with cholecystitis. I have diarrhea and haven't had a formed bowel movement in over a week. Should I consider a CT Scan? Furthermore, I've scheduled an appointment to see a doctor for a colonoscopy as well. I know there's something wrong. I just don't know where to go from here? I can't take this pain anymore, it runs about a 2-3 on a scale from 1 to 10. Once it was a 6.

Hello,

* Possible intestine infection giving diarrhea with particular pain.
* CT scan indication is not feasible at this point of time.
* Guidelines at present

- Continue to drink more liquids (preferably boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, butter milk).
- Add fresh curd in diet for probiotic support.
- Avoid all spices, oily, non veg stuffs. Fish oil use is also not recommended at present.

- Get prescription of antibiotic, probiotic and anti spasmodic medicine from your doctor.
- Just keep calm till you get colonoscopy as stress will increase the problem.
