Brief Answer:
post viral cough
Detailed Answer:
Hi
The reports you sent reveal
1) Anemia . Low hemoglobin and high platelet count and the smear report all fit into iron deficiency anemia.
2) high lymphocytes and high wbc. This means he most likely had viral illness.
You need not worry. Post viral dry cough will continue sometimes for a month too. It will subside soon.
From my experience ginger honey will not help much. Do not restrict fruits except citrus like oranges.
Avoid chocolates and sweets and icecream. No other restriction is necessary.
Continue the current medicines; it has beneficial effects. If the cough persists for more than a month, you need to consult your doctor again to look for any evidence of wheezing.
Wishing your kid speedy recovery.
