Question : I have had a head & chest cold for 6 weeks. I visited my Dr 4 weeks age & he gave me a shot , and a prescription for amox tr-k clv 875 - 125mg tablets. The prescription helped, the coughing has gotten better but my head is still stuffy and I have very little hearing in both ears. No pain, but before I go back to Dr. I thought I would seek more advice. Thank you. XXXXXXX Winebrenner

Hi,

It looks like you have had sinus inflammation with eustachian tube dysfunction / otitis. Your doctor should perform examination of sinuses and ears to confirm my suspicion.

Until you see the doctor, I will suggest you consider steam inhalation. It will immensely help you. In addition, you may also continue nyquil tablets.
