Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headaches

Posted on Tue, 21 Jun 2016
Question: I've had a headache for 2 days now on my forehead at my left brow. It gets worse if i bend over quickly. I try tylenol 1000 mg and it doesn't affect it. On a pain scale of 1-10 I'd call it a three. I'm just wondering if I should go in for a visit with my GP.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised and consult doctor if not improving

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Localized frontal headache over the eyebrow region may be due to frontal sinusitis if the pain is aggravated by pressing the involved region.
Another possibility may be migraine headache, if it is throbbing in nature, associated with nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to sound or light.
Is there any redness of eyes, lacrimation, nasal stuffiness?
Any fever, rhinitis or cough?
For acute pain relief you can take naproxen 500 mg sos.
If unresponsive, you can visit a doctor for examination and treatment.
