Question : I have had a fever of 101 for four days. Yesterday it went down to 99 but is up to 101.l this morning. I have very little appetite, feeling nauseous but no vomiting. Am able to hold down some food. my CPAP machine is causing me problems with leaking but I'm afraid to stop using it for a few days.

                                    Brief Answer:
Can be stomach flu, please specify cpap problem
Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient,
1.) the fever and loss of appetite may be a gastroenteritis ("stomach flu"), which will usually cure itself within a few days. Vomex as otc medication may help with that to reduce nausea.
2.) Please describe your problem with the cpap in more detail, is it related to 1.)?
Best regards

I have always had trouble with my CPAP machine. It leaks and I very rarely get a good night's sleep. I have to pull the straps so tight that it gives me a headache. I will have to followup with my pulmonary dr. Will make an appt tomorrow. Thank you.
As far as my stomach flu, I pass gas but only very little stool comes out in the toilet.
