Suggest Treatment For Persistent Itching On Scalp

Question : Hello doctor ,
My daughter 3 years has itching on the scalp .I just checked her scalp seems like she has dandruff .how do we get rid of the dandruff and I suspect she got it fro. Me as she sleeps next to me.please advice

I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.

Dandruff Or Seborrheic dermatitis can present as redness, scaling and itching. However, dandruff is not contagious.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest, both of you to use an antidandruff shampoo e.g Sebamed Antidandruff Shampoo, every alternate days. It contains piroctone olamine and climbazole which are effective antifungal ingredients.
