Question : Ongoing nausea. Clues:after 9mnths i gave up lexotan 6mg daily on 24th XXXXXXX Went on lexapro 1 1/5 mnths ago.Nausea after taking lexapro & stopped after normison

Lexotan and Normison are benzodiazepine medications. These medications can help with nausea and anxiety -- but they have serious drawbacks. If used for more than 3 months total, they can cause addiction, tolerance, falls, memory loss, withdrawal, seizures, and even death. They are only meant to be used short-term. For long term treatment of anxiety and nausea, an SSRI antidepressant is recommended. If Lexapro didn't work, I recommend trying Zoloft. This will be safer and more effective.

Thank you. Its not from anxiety ive neve had it before its either lexotan withdrawal or starting lexapro or a liver issuer
