Suggest Treatment For Persistent Nerve Pain

Question : I'm weaning off Neurontinn, Used to treat nerve pan the past five years. I still have the pain. Was taking 300! Mg three times daily. Since Monday that past we eliminated the afternoon dose which was taken closer to dinner because it was making me overly drowsy during the day. My question relates to what side effects should I watch for that tells me we are weaning to fast? What is this drugs half life? Thank you.

Mostly anxiety related side effects.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

White not typically linked with addiction when used for long term there is a risk for withdrawal symptoms with Gabapentin. Such symptoms may include anxiety, restlessness sleeping difficulties, sweating, fast heart rate. Of course the more gradual the withdrawal the less likely for that to happen as you seem to be aware.

As for its half life it's 5-7 hours.
