Brief Answer:
needs complete evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Nosebleeds if present for a month with family history needs complete evaluation.
The commonest cause is nose picking which has to be avoided at any cost.
You need to consult with your GP who will examine him and rule out any anatomical reasons like septal deviation or polyp in the nose.
If is also better to discuss with him about doing blood tests including complete hemogram, clotting profile, etc.

These
clotting disorders can run in families and need blood tests to identify.
Don't delay evaluation.

Wishing your child good health and speedy recovery.
Regards
Dr Arun
