Question: Hi, my 9 year old daughter has been having nose bleeds about 2 or 3 days a week for the last month or so and now she has constant uncontrollable blinking of her eyes for the last 2 weeks. Any idea what might be causing these?

Brief Answer:
Give her juicy fruits

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Nose bleeds could be due to simple viral cough and cold or could be due to underlying causes like nasal polyps or deviated nasal septum. It needs to be clinically examined. Steam inhalation should help.
The blinking of the eyes could be due to lack of some electrolytes. Taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits and bananas should help as they contain plenty of potassium If it does not, it would be a good idea to visit a doctor.
