Brief Answer:
Culture & drug sensitivity required.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Increase in discharge or no improvement in symptoms despite antibiotic therapy suggests that the infectious agent or micro-organism is not sensitive to the antibiotic prescribed.
I suggest you to get a culture of the discharge to identify the organism causing the infection.
A drug sensitivity has to be followed by culture to identify the drug most appropriate for the infectious agent.
Consult your treating doctor for prescription of test.

Thanks and take care
