Question : I have a rash/welts on my buttocks that has been there for a few weeks now. I have tried anti-biotic creams and ointments, but nothing has worked. It does not appear to be spreading. It is red, itches a little, but uncomfortable. I do not have a clue what it is. Please advise.

From the description, it seems likely that you might be having some fungal infection over your buttocks but for better clarity and understanding, I suggest you to post some good clinical pictures on this page.
