Brief Answer:
seborrhoeic dermatitis , hair will grow back

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
As per details, it seems that you are having a condition called Seborrhoeic dermatitis. It is characterised by dandruff or white flakes deposits over scalp. The condition is mainly due to exess secretion of sebaceous glands and role of Malasezzia furfur which is a kind of fungus is also being implicated.
You have already been using anti dandruff shampoo containing ketoconazole and coal tar. I prefer to advise ketoconazole based shampoo to my patients for long term use. Coal tar containing preparation should not be used for very long time.
Seborrheic dermatitis can cause hairfall to some extent but it cannot cause baldness.
Yours seem to be Androgenetic alopecia which is a type of Patterned hairloss.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis can be treated easily by anti dandruff shampoo. It is a highly recurring condition so the shampoo should be used once in a week even after resolution of the condition.
Your hair would definitely grow back.
You should take tablet containing Biotin, Calcium pantothenate, selenium for atleast 3 months.
I hope it helps.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
you may continue mintop

Detailed Answer:
Its my pleasure to help you here.
Yes you may continue to use Mintop.
Minoxidil itself dries up to leave white flakes which is many a times misinterpreted as seborrhea.
Do not worry, it won't affect your hand hair.
So relax.
You may ask me further questions if you wish.
in future also if you have any query you may directly write on my profile or you may post the query with my name so that the query is directed to me only.
Stay healthy

Thanks Dr. XXXXXXX for ur instant reply and gives me confidence with ur words.. And in last message it's a typo error. It's not hand it's head.. That scaly skin along with hair. U have said that dermatitis won't affect hair.. Will it weakens the hair root.?? U have mentioned that it won't become, Reason for baldness but will it become for root weakening. Could u pls explain me in this.

Brief Answer:
dandruff doesn't weaken the hair root

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Dandruff does not directly weaken the root. It is when someone tries to scratch the scalp to look for flakes or due to itch then this trauma is the reason for weakning of root thus leading to hair fall. But as I said it is never to such an extent that it would lead to baldness.
So I will again say that you need not to worry for this.
Take care.
