Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Neck and muscle pain can be muscular in origin.
Pain killers with muscle relaxant like etoricoxib or Aceclofenac with thiocholchicoside or tizanidine can be taken for few days.
Pregabalin or gabapentin can be used later on if symptoms persists.
Visit to a neurologist for opinion and prescription.
Nothing serious at present.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thanks for the opinion Dr XXXXXXX Need a couple of clarifications.
Can you please suggest the medicine dosage and mg she has to take.
And is there a possibility that the pain is due to the Chiari malformation? Just a bit concerned;
I will be taking her to NIMHANS Bengaluru for a second opinion on her MRI reports next week. Hope she doesn't require a surgery. Thanks

Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Ezact MR 60 mg once or twice daily can be started.
Less likely due to chiari malformations.
Other medications can be added after consulting with neurosurgeon in NIMHANS.
Wishing her good health and early recovery.
