Brief Answer:
You can give Ibuprofen..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that due to decay there has been exposure and irritation of nerves present in the centre of the tooth leading to pain and at times the infection progresses below the Root tips of the tooth and causes pus formation..

It can cause swelling..

As the medication given to you and you already know it will provide only temporary relief, then you should look forward to get the tooth treated for permanent resolution..

If pain is not being subsided with Crocin you can give Ibuprofen..
Also do cool compresses over the swelling...

Once the swelling and pain gets better get the x ray of the tooth done and if you have got the x ray done already please upload it here so that I can see and guide you better..

Please write back for further queries..

Regards..

Hi Madam,

Thanks for your reply, already he has taken afternoon crocin (1/2 Tablet), can he take the Ibuprofen right now or he as to wait until dinner time.

If he can take now, full tablet (Ibuprofen) or only half, please suggest. Can he take night also ?

Tomorrow I can upload the X-Ray of Teeth.
