Question : what is the cause of vistabula vertigo
Brief Answer:
Pathophysiology explained
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Our ear has three parts, the external ear (upto the eardrum), middle ear (beyond the eardrum) and inner ear (containing the vestibulocochlear apparatus). The vestibulocochlear apparatus comprises of the vestibular apparatus and the cochlea. While the former is responsible for balance, the latter is responsible for hearing. In case of any problems with the vestibular apparatus, the vertigo that so results, is called vestibular vertigo.
