The sour vomiting indicates accumulation of stomach acids. But the brown color worries me. Brown is the color of altered blood as it gets exposed to stomach acids. There are two possible sources of this blood. Firstly, if there is wretching while vomiting, certain blood vessels may get torn due to the force of vomiting. Secondly, there could be a bleeding gastric ulcer.
As of now, you should take prilosec (omeprazole) once daily before breakfast. Take small but frequent meals. For the rest, you need to see a doctor, preferably a gastrointestinologist who could get an endoscopy done.
In the meantime, take plenty of fluids.
