                                            Question : Dear Doctor,
I delivered my child in March, 2016. But since then am having trouble with my bowel movement. I am having a bad case of piles. After delivery I started taking laxatives and it helped. But whenever I stopped laxatives situation worsened. There is swelling that hangs down from my Anus. It hurts really bad when passing stools. Bleeding is also there. And the pain lasts for nearly ten hours after passing stools. Now I have been taking laxatives continuously for the past three weeks and the swelling has reduced and there is no pain or bleeding while defecating. But yesterday I didn't take my laxative and today morning I had slight trouble with my stools. Only when my stools are very lose am able to defecate without pain. Am having lots of water, leafy vegetables, oats etc.. but nothing seems to help. I want a cure to my problem as laxatives can't be taken forever. Kindly advise as to what can be done.
