Question : good morning. I have got a little boil on my left eye which has resulted in swelling on my left eye and it is paining a lot. I am attaching pics for your reference. pl advise medicine. thanks. Anil Bhalla

Lid margin infection

Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for sending your query to us.
This is an infected lid margin gland,as is evident by your photograph . What you have to do is have hit fomentation twice a day fir at least 5 minutes.Along with you should have doxycycline 100 mg one tab/capsule twice a day for 4 days.Since there is pain,ibugesic plus tablet one twice a day will reduce the issue.You should have these tablets for at least 5 days.If you can get ciplox eye ointment,can be applied daily at bed time.
