Suggest Treatment For Pimple On Upper Lips

default
Posted on Tue, 30 Sep 2014
Question: Hello. So the other week I noticed what I thought to be a pimple in my upper lip. Like it was a small white dot underneath the skin. I tired bringing it to the surface but I couldn't get it to. Then it became a bump for a bit. I don't remember it being painful. And now its been a scab I keep chewing on accident when I bite my lip. I have not completely terrible acne just a bit worst than other people which is why I thought it was a zit. I just was wondering if this really is a zit or something else.

Brief Answer:
Superficial skin infection,apply antibiotic

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.

You surely seem to have developed a superficial infection over the lip areas.
I would advise you not to touch the affected area too much .
Just clean it with a lukewarm water twice a day and apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over it twice a day.
I am sure the lesion should heal in three to five days.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it.
