Brief Answer:
Can be neglected hygiene/ allergy/hormonal imbalance/ viral infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for asking through Health care magic. I understand your concern.
The pimples on chest you have following 1 week of illness can be-
- A high grade fever/ illness causing lot of exhaustion , weakness, sweating.. causing negligence in alimentary hygiene .. leading to clogging of sebaceous gland ducts in skin of back & the pimples. Bathing with good skin wash & application of talcum powder for few days would take care of it.
- Such rash may indicate allergy to newly used cosmetic( soap, powder) or drug being used. It is associated with itching. Needs doctor's advise/ withdrawal of the allergen & few anti allergic pills.
- Any illness causes psychological / physical stress leading to hormonal imbalance in body.. which leads to pimples. Proper skin care/ nutritive diet / rest would get the imbalance corrected & pimples would heal automatically.
- Such skin rash is seen following few viral diseases.. like chicken pox/ small pox/herpes zoster( where the pimples ( blisters ) are water filled & are in a stripe around spine.
The rash in this group needs a physician's consultation & care
So recognition of the cause & needful treatment under family physician's care is advised in such a case.
I hope the answer has provided sufficient information & is useful to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
