Question : hi doc I got some issue with my skin right below the eye skin is getting dried up and it becoming white and getting peeled off, no itching sensation.

Hello xxxxxxxxxx, Welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

I've reviewed the image and it's most likely resembling Pityriasis versicolor, a superficial fungal infection caused by a yeast..

You need to go for Potassium hydroxide examination(KOH preperation) of the skin-scraping from the particular affected area under supervision of a Dermatologist. This is necessary to rule out the fungal infection as management depends on this (if fungal infection detected, a course of anti-fungal like oral Itraconaconazole along with topical application will be advised)..(if no infection detected then a short course of mild steroid ointment for 10 days should be tried )..

This should be done under strict supervision of a Dermatologist only..so please schedule the appointment and get the necessary investigations done at first..management will be according to the findings as explained..
