Hello mam,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.

I understand your concern and condition properly. After seeing the picture attached by you, my suggestion to you would be not to worry.

Tab Vitamin C twice daily
Use diluted Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Drink lots of water
Acetaminophen for pain
Multivitamin-Minerals-antioxidant syrup twice daily .

Try to maintain oral hygiene and if possible try washing your mouth after every meal. You can also apply honey to it in case of any burning sensation. If after doing all this, your symptoms do not subside, then you should see a dentist.

Ok so I have further photos I took just now, that not only showcases the plica fimbriata but even more worrying is the big blue long vein thing underneath that is extremely larger than my left side. What do you think?? It also makes my tongue when it's on standby not completely flat as it's raised by this large bit of blue underneath the tongue.

Thank you for your answers

Hello mam,

Welcome back,

I saw pictures uploaded by you, yes the veins seems to be engorged. The reason for this is sublingual veins are very vascular, but sometimes due to blood stasis ,blood tends to accumulate within the veins causing swelling. Most common reason for this swelling is stress, anxiety and other emotional factors.

Hope you are not having sore throat now or recently which might cause these tongue symtoms.

Please do as i said before and stop worrying. If these does not subside after that, then see your dentist.

Hope i answered your query.Take care of yourself. :)

Brief Answer:
Untreated sore throat

Detailed Answer:
Hello there,

Thank you for writing back,

Your symptoms might be due to the untreated sore throat you are having.

If I were your treating doctor I would have prescribed a course of antibiotic and asked you follow those mentioned above by me.

You can always visit your nearest doctor and discuss about it. Please do not worry.

If you have no further clarifications, please close the discussion and rate it.

Kind regards
