Suggest Treatment For Poor Blood Flow To Kidneys

Question: The quick answer to your question is "I'm not doing very well." I saw a nephrologist and was told that my kidney problems were a function of my congestive heart failure and, on that basis was not a candidate for transplant. He also said that I was a poor candidate for dialysis because my heart was so weak. I have to return in a couple weeks for a sonogram to determine how much blood is getting pumped into my kidneys. The doctor at that time indicates a need to perhaps change from lisinopril amd amiodorone to something else. So my questions this time are: one, if the blood flow into my kidneys is poor, what can be done about it -- if anything? Two, how advisable is it to find pills oher than lisinopril and amidoone in order to lower the creatinine level, which, by the way, went up to 3.0 at my most recent test. I want to hear anything else you have to say about all this. If I'm simply heading down the final stretch and the finish line is looming, I can accept it. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to delay all this. My wife is a little anxious, too. Thanks for your help. XXXXXXX XXXX
