Brief Answer:
Eye sight is on higher side, requires evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having refractive error in the form of myopia with astigmatism.
Any refractive error which is more than 6 dioptres is considered as high refractive error.
Since in your case the refractive error in your left eye is -5.5, it requires evaluation.
Since you are also having high astigmatism in both the eyes of -3.5 dioptres, you need evaluation to causes for high astigmatism like keratoconus and other corneal thinning disorders.

Hence I advice you to undergo examination with your ophthalmologist by investigations like orbscan to rule out the causes for the presence of high refractive error and the high astigmatism.

In your case I can say the eye sight is on the higher side and requires evaluation.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
Do get back to me with the examination reports.

Thank you
With regards

Thank you Dr. DADAPEER K for the informative response which I really appreciate. I actually have keratoconus in my both eyes. my left eye is also lazy.

Is there any treatment or recommended surgery that might correct my sight other than Corneal transplant?

Brief Answer:
Treatment options are C3R and INTACS.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

The treatment options for keratoconus are Corneal collagen cross linking (C3R) and intra corneal ring segments (INTACS).
In advanced cases, corneal transplant surgery is required.

Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist to assess the severity of keratoconus and treatment accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
