Muscles spasms are seen in some individuails due to Post herpetic neuralgia.
Apart from Lyrica,I prescribe skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside 4mg twice daily after food to my patients with similar complaints.
Antiviral tablet Acyclovir will reduce the symptoms if it is taken during early stages of shingles.
