Question : what are symptoms of a blood clot in your leg?
Brief Answer:
Swelling, redness, warmth and tenderness
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Blood clot in the leg veins is usually one sided. There would be swelling, pain, redness and tenderness over the affected limb. The tenderness produced on dorsiflexion ( upward movement) of the ankle is a typical sign.
The clot can usually be confirmed by a doppler ultrasound study of the limb.
