Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You wrote that you are taking medication for the urinary tract. Did you just start this medication for your current symptoms, or have you been on the medication for ongoing bladder or kidney problems?
Could you please check to see and write me the name of the medicine so I know what it is?
And when you started it, and what you are taking it for.
Thanks.
I can tell you that blood in the urine is of course not normal. If the pain is below the rib cage in your back, this could be from a kidney stone, or it could be from an infection in the kidney, particularly if you also have a fever, nausea, and are feeling generally ill.
I recommend that you go in to the urgent care or ER now, where they can test your urine, and possibly also get an abdominal X-ray (which can sometimes show the presence of a stone if it has calcium in it).
