Question : I cant really tell if this is a cold sore or not. It doesn't hurt but its a white patch of skin on my lip that i just noticed. I've also kind of irritated the area by putsing with it so much.

I have gone through your query and pictures. Your problem can be most likely cheilitis. It can be due to vitamin deficiencies or irritation. Anemia also can cause this so it should be ruled out by testing your hemoglobin levels also.
Applying lanolin cream will be helpful. Also take B complex vitamins and folic acid. If you have not done worm eradication within a year do worm eradication also. For this you can take single dose of albendazole 400mg at night.
