Suggest Treatment For Problems In Ovulation

Question: Hi I m 27 yr old. 3 years marriage. I have sevear pcod. No thyroid. I'm overweight. Bmi 26. I m clomid resistant. I m in case of innovulation. I had lap drilling and XXXXXXX on 9th aug . Right fallopuan tube was blocked and opened. My doc put me on ovral G once. Glycomet 850 twice and apcod sachets twice. Now exactly after a month on 9th sept I have got my period S. What shall proceed next. Shall I take clomid again. I already admitted my blood for lh fsh prolactine test on cd3. Plz I need a proper guidance to ovulate now. I m suffering lot bcz of I cannot give baby to our family. Help me doc

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Anovulation occurs commonly in women with PCOS ( Polycystic ovaries ).

2) Since you have undergone laparoscopic drilling recently, undergo follicular growth scan this cycle to know if ovulation is occurring as it is possible after drilling.

3) If you are not ovulating even after ovarian drilling, you should get gonadotrpin injection from your doctor which are essential for ovulation if not occurring normally. This will help in ovulation.

Thank u doctor for quick reply. I want to knw. I m at mother S house now. My treatment will b continued at my husband place. Today my CD 3. I can't meet my document now. Shall I clomid now? Or when shall I start my follicular study means on which day? Can drilling is help full in ovulation?

It is important to undergo follicular growth scan t check follicles before starting clomid. Get it done today.

Drilling does help in ovulation. Only way to know is by follicular growth scan.

Repeat follicular growth scan by 12th day to know status of follicles.

Hi doctor. My day 3 fsh - 5.10 and LH - 5.84 and prolactine - 9.86.. this is current figurs. Before my drilling figures are - day 3. Fsh- 4.63. Lh- 8.67 and prolactine - 47.11.. will u plz consult me these difference are showing any good sign for ovulation or not?
