Brief Answer:
PCOD is curable

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I got your information and saw your ultrasound report.

PCOD can be cured with adequate treatment.
You might need combined hormonal pill containing estrogen and progesterone for 3 to 4 months and then check the status of PCOD in ultrasound.

You might also need to check for any thyroid abnormalities by doing the thyroid test.

Your weight is adequate. And you don't have any excess facial hair and any black pigmentation over neck. These are all good signs.

So PCOD might revert back to normal soon with adequate treatment.

You need to :-
1) Exercise daily for an hour.
2) Avoid junk food.
3) Include fruits and veggies in diet.
4) Rule out any thyroid abnormalities.
5) Take the medication given by your gynaecologist.

PCOD sometimes causes problem for pregnancy by causing no ovulation and irregular periods.

By taking ovulation inducing drugs as a part of infertility treatment will give good results.

So just relax. Need not worry. PCOD is routinely seen nowadays. With appropriate treatment and change in lifestyle it will subside.
