Question : Hello, I have had this condition for nearly 7 months now, It 1st started over night with pins & needles & numbness in my hands. It got progressively worse with swelling to my feet & knees. I have a lot of pain in my fingers and no strength in fingers, wrists, shoulders and knees . I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis and have been taking a course of 'Salazopyrin' for 12 weeks now but with no improvement, I have now been prescribed 'Methotrexate' and have been taking this for 4 weeks together with 'Salazopyin' There still no improvement. I just wonder if my diagnoses is incorrect and it could be something else

For your exact diagnose to be made I want to then values of certain blood tests like HLA-B27 which is found in 50% of cases, RA factor quantitative, E.S.R, C.R.P, aspiration of fluid from joint to know about biochemical and cytological analysis along with report of your physical examination.

After seeing all the reports I will make your diagnosis and advise you further treatment.
