Brief Answer:
You must prevent wind, dust and sunlight

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I presume we are talking about Pterygium in both eyes.

The definite treatment for Pterygium is a simple procedure as said by your doctor if you have symptoms like watering, redness, burning. It is just a 15 minute procedure where the extra growth like thing is cut and a flap is created over the conjunctiva.

If you are against this simple procedure there are other slightly less effective ways to deal with the problem. Wear sunglasses all the time in the sun. You should make sure your eyes are not exposed to dust, heavy wind and sun which is rather difficult. Your doctor can prescribe you eye drops to prevent dryness of the eye.

Regarding Asthma you should find out the reason why you are having attacks. Is it allergic? What are those allergens causing cough? Once the allergens are prevented triggering cough your asthma attacks minimize and you rarely need to use the nebulizer. Speak to an allergist about prevention of attacks.

Let me know if you have any other queries.

Brief Answer:
Prophylaxis with Monteleukast

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

With medicines like leukotriene receptor antagonist montelukast seems to be effective in the treatment of cough variant asthma. Larger studies are recommended to confirm this effect.

You do not need antibiotics, a simple dose of the above medication along with certain basic life style changes should help. Keep the weather cooler around you so that the dust mites settle down, keep washing the carpets, curtains and bed sheets every week. Dry them indoors as they attract dust if dried outside.

These changes can help you definitely. Try them for two months you will gradually realize that the air is cleaner and fresher and less problematic.

Hope this helps.
