Suggest Treatment For Puffiness And Swelling Around The Ankles
Question: Thank you....My feet have always been a bit puffy around the ankles, but now they are very badly swollen. Can Rennies antacid tablets cause this.? I take 2 of these every night sometimes 3 to combat acid reflux while I sleep. I also take a somac tablet every night as well. I've just been reading about the antacids, and think it may be the cause. Am I right.?

I prescribe proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole 20mg along with Domperidone , before food to my patients .
Avoid spicy food. Take frequent small feeds.
