Question : I have a hammering or beating in my right ear that is much faster than my heart rate when I lay on my right ear?

First, I need to ask for more information about your condition, mainly, if there are other symptoms such vertigo, nausea present?

Pulsatile tinnitus is a symptom that may be related to ear's bone structures changes, but also it may indicate serious conditions such intracranial (dural) arteriovenous fistulas.

It is necessary to consult an ENT Doctor first and most likely for brain MRI, in order to have a correct understanding of your condition.
