Question : My 27 year old son has a Pyogenic Granuloma on his left index finder. It started in December 2014. He has seen his PCM and he treated it with Silver Nitrate and it still looks terrible. Today his doctor said he needed to see a hand surgeon. The problem we are running into is nobody wants to seem to help because he is on Medicaid. He is a student. He is very frustrated that nobody wants to take this thing off his finger. He is in training to be a barber and it's making it very hard for him to train. Not to mention he is moving out of state to get married in 14 days. He would love to have this taken care of before his wedding. Can anyone help?

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query
I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.Your son has pyogenic granuloma on his index finger. He may require minor operation so it is advisable to consult hand surgeon or orthopedic surgeon for this. Alternatively it may be cauterised by electric cautery or chemical cautery by Copper surface. You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
