Question : My dentist said yesterday i have what he thinks is a pyogenic granuloma on my gums. I have a biopsy scheduled for tomorrow. I am 45, female, not pregnant, non smoker. I am very worried this is an oral cancer even though it was not suggested. It has been there for a couple of weeks. Painless.

                                    Brief Answer:
Pyogenic granuloma, non cancerous lesion, simple procedure
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as the pyogenic granuloma is benign inflamatory lesion. Nothing to worry it is not a cancerous lesion. This occurs secondary to chronic irritation or hormonal changes. It is a simple surgical procedure done under locaL anesthesia. 10-15 min procedure. Be bold, the procedure will be painless.
I hope i have answered your query. If any queries are there reply me back. take care.
