Question : I have some raised bumps in the hollow areas of my hips on either side of my vagina.
they burn when I wash with soap and water. It doesn't seem to fit the description of hemorrhoids and does not go away with treatments of a&d ointment.

bumps can have many causes like fungal or bacterial infection or std etc.

bacterial like staphylococcus due to sweat.

fungal like candidiasis

viral like warts due to sexually transmitted disease.
